The main object for the club is to help members in finding clothing, shoes, beds etc that can be difficult to find in the right sizes. We also try to make manufacturers from the industry realise the need for products for people above average height. Due to financial benefits the manufacturers most often do not like to have products of larger sizes that often sell in small volumes but if we put an effort in to it we can make a change and make producers realise the urgent need for larger sizes.

King Size Clubs organisation is relatively small (in terms of the number of members) compared to other countries but including the rest of the world (e.g. USA, Europe, Ghana) there are about 12000 members. 

The larger European clubs have contact with the responsible for standard development in EU and does its best to influence them.

We have no limit of how tall you must be but most foreign clubs use have 180 cm for women and 190 cm for men as limits.

Besides the suggestions of where you can by e.g. clothes King Size Club also arrange various activities like pub nights, bowling, sports activities etc. Every year around Ascension day a European meeting is arranged. Members from all over the world meet and have a fun week. The annual meeting usually attracts between 300 to 750 members and the week always end with a ball.
